Pr Moses Depaz was born and raised in Sydney, NSW—a city that shaped his love for people, culture, and a faith that’s lived out in everyday life. From a young age, Moses sensed God’s call and developed a deep appreciation for the local church as a place where hope is shared and lives are transformed.
That early calling has grown into a clear passion for serving people in meaningful and practical ways. Having also spent several years living in Melbourne, Moses has come to value the rhythm, diversity, and opportunity that city life brings. He believes cities are not just busy spaces, but mission fields—places where faith becomes tangible and where people can encounter Jesus in real and life-changing ways.
Moses is driven by a desire to see professionals, families, students, and seekers discover a Christ-centred worldview that shapes how they live, love, and lead. He is known for his relational warmth, down-to-earth biblical teaching, and heart for discipleship. Building authentic community in the midst of fast-paced city living is something he cares deeply about.
Ministry for Moses is never a solo journey. He is grateful for his incredible wife, Gez, and together they are raising their three energetic boys. As a family, they share a deep joy in serving Christ and walking alongside others in their faith journey. They believe ministry is most powerful when it is genuine and shared.
Moses is thankful for the privilege of serving in Melbourne and is expectant about what God is continuing to do in the city. His prayer is simple: that every person would encounter Jesus personally, experience the depth of His love, and live out a vibrant, Christ-centred faith right where they are.
