Discussion Questions for “Lest We Forget”:

These questions are here to stimulate dialogue about today’s topic – feel free to skip around or discuss items not listed below.

  1. Can you think of any examples when a random coincidence turned things around for you?  Do you think this was luck or was it God’s leading?  How can you tell the difference?
  2. Why do we forget about God’s leading in the past? What helps us to remember?
  3. What are some of your favourite books/stories/apps/videos/art/etc that remind you of God’s goodness?
  4. Who has served and sacrificed so that you can be where you are in life right now?  So that you can be here today?  How can you honour them?
  5. Read Psalm 78.  Who does the forgetting?  Who does the remembering?
