Discussion Questions for “Becoming Stone-catchers and bridge-builders”

- How do you feel when you’re discouraged? How do you feel when you’re encouraged? What kinds of things can we do or say that would encourage others?
- What are some things someone has done or said that provided encouragement when you most needed it?
- Read Romans 12:4-8. What might the gift of encouragement look like today? Who in the community has such a gift? How can we affirm them?
- Who is God calling you to defend, champion or mentor as a “stone-catcher”? Who is God calling you to help or connect with as a “bridge-builder’?
- How is Jesus our “stone-catcher and bridge-builder”? How does He encourage us?
