God’s Mission through the Nations, part 2: God’s Call for All People

These questions are here to stimulate dialogue about today’s topic – feel free to skip around or discuss items not listed here.

1. What was meaningful to you from today’s sermon?

2. Jinha added context to God’s judgement on some of the Old Testament nations. Did this change how you understand judgement in the Old Testament? In what way?

3. Before today’s talk, did you view the Ninevites as generally good or bad? How does the idea that God has been revealing Himself to the Assyrian people change your view of the Ninevites? Are there any other people groups that are generally seen as opposing Christianity that you think God is revealing himself to?

4. How does the idea that God interacts within nations impact our view of history?

5. How does the idea that God is sovereign impact our view of the future?
