Discussion Questions for 28 Sept 2024 – “I Have Found the Book”

1. What was most memorable for you from the sermon (whether you liked or disliked it)?
2. What book has helped you seek / understand God better?
3. Why do you think the Scriptures were lost for so long before King Josiah’s time? What factors today contribute to people neglecting or losing touch with the Bible?
4. King Josiah physically removed all the idols from the land after rediscovering God’s Word. In a modern context, what does idolatry look like, and what does it look like to repent?
5. Josiah’s reforms didn’t last beyond his reign. What does this suggest about the challenges of sustaining spiritual or social change? How can we create lasting change?
