Discussion questions: ‘Case for creation’
These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.
1. Which evidence in the case for creation do you find most compelling? Why does that particular evidence stand out to you personally?
2. Romans 2:15 says that God’s law is “written on our hearts.” Can you think of a time when your conscience pointed you toward right or wrong, even when it wasn’t easy? What might that say about God’s design in us?
3. In a world where science and faith are often seen as opposites, how can we approach conversations about creation and evolution in a way that builds bridges instead of walls?
4. Genesis 2:7 says that God “breathed into [Adam’s] nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.” How does this image of God personally giving life to humanity affect the way you think about human dignity and worth, for yourself and others?
5. What does it look like to live with greater awareness that you were created by a loving God? How does this affect the way you treat other people, engage with nature, or pursue your purpose?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and being involved in today’s discussion!
