Discussion questions 6 December 2025

These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.

1. Think of a moment in your life that seemed discouraging or confusing at the time, but later you could see it leading to something meaningful. How does that experience help you face current challenges?

2. James 1:2–4 [click to read online] says, “The testing of your faith produces perseverance.” What kinds of ‘tests’ have stretched your faith recently? What have they taught you about God or yourself?

3. How have you experienced God providing (spiritually, emotionally or in practical ways) through your community or through unexpected people? How might we be more intentional about being that provision for others?

4. Read Ephesians 4:31–32 [click to read online]. What makes it difficult to forgive? What helps you move toward a forgiving spirit, even when emotions are still raw?

5.  What areas of your life do you feel God is inviting you to live out your faith more intentionally?
