‘The Generous Way: Stewardship’

A stewardship study on Psalm 24, exploring tithing, biblical ownership and radical generosity. If you own nothing and steward everything, how does that shift your daily relationship with wealth?

These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.

1. Why do you think people often tie their sense of security or identity to money?

2. What are some signs of an ownership mindset versus a stewardship mindset in everyday life?

3. When does giving become a transaction or obligation, rather than an act of worship? How can we guard against that?

4. What makes generosity difficult in our stage of life (career-building, raising children, mortgages, etc.)? How does faith speak into those pressures?

5. What is one resource God has entrusted to you (e.g. money, time, skills, influence, hospitality) that you could steward more generously this week?
