‘The Generous Way: A life worth living’

Often, our faithfulness can feel unnoticed, ineffective, or even wasted. Yet Jesus shows that nothing given to Him in faith is ever wasted in God’s kingdom—even when we can’t measure their impact

These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.

1. Which criticism would bother you more: feeling or being told you’ve done too little; or feeling or being told you’ve done too much?

2. Read Galatians 6:9 [click to read online]. What tends to make people weary in doing good? What kind of “harvest” do you think Paul is talking about?

3. Can you think of someone whose quiet faithfulness shaped your life? What does that teach us about the impact of seemingly small acts of love?

4. Have you ever wondered whether something you gave (your time, energy, money, care, or service made any difference? Why is it difficult to keep giving when we can’t see results?

5. This week, what’s one act of generosity, service or encouragement you can do without needing recognition or immediate results?
