Discussion questions 20 September 2025

These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.

1. We often see or experience brokenness in our relationships: with ourselves, others, and even the world around us. How do you notice this kind of brokenness showing up in your own life or in society? How does this shape the way you understand challenges like suffering and conflict?

2. How does understanding that creation itself suffers because of sin change the way we think about environmental issues and our responsibility toward the earth?

3. Read and reflect on Romans 5:8 [click to read online]. What does this tell us about God’s love and grace, especially when we feel unworthy or distant from Him?

4. Jesus’ power is shown through humility and sacrificial love rather than domination (Colossians 1:20). What are some ways we can live out this kind of love in a practical way within our workplaces or communities?

5. Romans 12:21 encourages us to “overcome evil with good” [click to read online]. What is an action or commitment you feel called to take this week to reflect God’s love and bring healing to a broken relationship or situation?
