‘Worship that Glows, Part 1’
These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.
1. What’s one small, ordinary part of your daily routine that you do almost without thinking? What might change if you began to see that moment as an opportunity to worship God?
2. Paul writes, “Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship” (Romans 12:1). What do you think a “living sacrifice” looks like in everyday life? What might that mean for the way we work, use our time, treat our bodies, or relate to others throughout the week?
3. “Whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). What are some ordinary or even mundane things in your life that could become acts of worship? What makes something an act of worship rather than just another task?
4. Are there parts of your life (work, relationships, finances, ambitions, entertainment, rest, or decision-making) where it’s easy to leave your faith at the door?
5. “Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus” (Colossians 3:17). As you think about the week ahead, what is one ordinary thing you could intentionally do differently as an act of worship? What would you like to start, stop, or surrender to God?
