Discussion questions for “Samson: The Lord Had Left Him”

1. Can you think of a time you made a mistake, and then made the same mistake again, rather than learning from it? Why might people keep making the same mistakes over and over?
2. What were some of the mistakes Samson kept repeating?
3. Why do you think that Samson “did not know that the Lord had left him”? What are ways you can be aware of God’s presence or guidance?
4. What can we do to ensure that we know that the Lord is with us? Is this a fixed certainty, or is it something we need to continually monitor and check?
5. What is a practical step you can do this week to help build or rebuild your relationship with Jesus?
