These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.  

1. Have you ever had a moment where you realised your story was part of something bigger?

2. Out of the seven ‘scenes’ Jinha described: Radiance (the story of Earth’s creation), Rift (the story of human sin), Rebellion (the story of Satan), Wrestle (the battle between good and evil), Redemption (the story of Jesus), Restoration (the story of the church), or Rescue (the Second Coming and Earth made new) – which scene do you find most compelling? Meaningful? Challenging?

3. Where do you see yourself in God’s story right now? (ex: are you in the Rift, experiencing consequences of a sinful world, or in the Wrestle trying to do the right thing but finding it hard, or the Redemption where you’re seeing the grace of Jesus, etc?)

4. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17-20.

  • What does it mean to be a “new creation” in God’s story?

  • How can we live as “Christ’s ambassadors”? What does that practically look like?

  • How does this change how you view your life, work, or relationships?

5. What “next chapter” do you feel God might be inviting you to write with Him? Are there specific steps you want to take in response to this message?
