‘The Generous Way’

A Psalm 34 study exploring experiential faith, God’s provision, and living generously. What is the relationship between vulnerability and divine trust?

These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.

1. Can you recall a time when someone showed you unexpected generosity or kindness? How did it affect you personally?

2. What do you think David means in Psalm 34:8 when he says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good”?

3. Throughout this psalm, why do you think David describes God’s goodness using such vivid, personal imagery?

4. Read 1 Peter 5:7. How does trusting God as our provider change the way we handle fear, stress or scarcity?

5. Reflecting on Proverbs 11:25, how does it feel to show generosity to someone else? Is this true all the time?

6. What is one practical way we can reflect God’s goodness and generosity to others this week?
