Discussion questions for “The Work of the Holy Spirit”

1. What do you think of when you think of the Holy Spirit? How does this compare to your understanding and relationship with God the Father and God the Son?


2. Do you feel comfortable with the stories of the Holy Spirit we read in the Bible? What characteristics do you associate with the Holy Spirit?


3. Why do you think more focus within the church is often given to the figures of God and of Jesus, rather than the Holy Spirit?


4. How open do you think we are to the activity of the Holy Spirit – as individuals? As a church?


5. What do you think it would look like if we gave the Holy Spirit the freedom to change us and to change our church?
