‘Living out God’s love: Unashamed’

Paul calls us to offer our lives as a living sacrifice, renewed daily rather than conformed to the world, marked by genuine love and gifts used for others. What could change if you saw today as an act of worship rather than routine?

These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.

1. If you could experience one powerful force of nature (e.g. a storm or fire) — not to harm you, but to change your perspective or priorities — which would you choose, and why?

2. Which word makes you more uncomfortable: sacrifice, or surrender? Why that one?

3. Think about your strengths, experiences, and skills. How might God want to use them for something bigger than your own success or career?

4. What’s one relationship right now where ‘genuine love’ is actually hard to practice? What would Paul’s encouragement in Romans 12:9–21 look like lived out there?

5. Where could you use your specific gifts (not generic ones) to serve people around you, at work, or in your friend group, or even the community?
