Songs in the Night: Discovering Hope and Courage

Lockdown 5.0. Each time, it feels a bit heavier, a bit harder to pull ourselves out of disappointments from cancelled plans and frustrations from the uncertainty of it all. This pandemic and the resulting lockdowns feel like an endless winter, a long, cold and dark night. This Saturday, hear the stories of incredible individuals who learned that “ignoring the darkness doesn’t make it light. Avoiding brokenness doesn’t bring redemption. But singing in the dark can heal us and change us. When our songs are directed toward God, the giver of song and healing, they ultimately bring us hope and joy … and [growing] courage” (Ginny Owens, “Singing in the Dark”)
