22 Feb 20225 – “Questions: Where Are You?”
These questions are a starting point to help spark discussion that digs deeper into today’s topic – feel free to adapt or add additional questions of your own.
- What thoughts or emotions come to mind when you hear God ask, “Where are you?”
- Read Romans 5:8 “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners” (NLT). What is the significance of God being proactive in seeking reconciliation rather than waiting for us to come to Him?
- In what ways do people “hide” from God today? How do you personally relate to that?
- How does unresolved shame, fear, or guilt affect our relationship with God and others?
- How can you encourage someone else who may be struggling with guilt or shame to receive God’s grace?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and being involved in today’s discussion!
